English Pair of 19th Century Majolica Garden Seats by John Adams
About the Item
English pair of Majolica garden seats by John Adams. This particular design and maker was exhibited at the London International Exhibition in 1871 and are considered quite rare. They were also illustrated in the important 19th century ceramics reference book Llewelyn Jewitt's Ceramic Art of Great Britian, published 1876. One has been repaired, circa 1870.
