Early 18th Century French Hammered Copper Watering Can from Normandy
About the Item
Decorate kitchen cabinets with this large antique water can. Hand crafted in Normandy France circa 1740, and built of copper, the hammered metal construction gives this watering can a charming and unique character. Designed with a gracefully curved handle and large spout, this watering can adds an aesthetic appeal to any garden themed display. Could be used as a planter or a vase. Item is in rough bad condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a wonderful patinated copper finish. Holes in the bottom, so mainly used for decorative purposes (see photos attached).
