Japanese Antique Copper Lantern / Delicate Design / Early 20th Century

About the Item

A single lantern is completed by stacking the three parts. I think it's copper casting,, but each decoration is fine and beautiful, and it's made very carefully. This is a very nice and elegant lantern. You can put it in your garden to appreciate it, or you can decorate it in your room. Originally, I think there were metal fittings that held these three parts together. It is thought that it was hung from the ceiling and used as a fishing lantern by fixing it with metal fittings. However, the metal fittings are currently missing, so please enjoy it as a standing lantern. In addition, part of the inner edge of the canopy is missing. And part of the leg has a crack and there is a trace of gluing it together. It is the part circled in red in the image. please confirm. However, they are not particularly conspicuous, and there is no particular problem when viewing them. This is a very rare high-quality copper lantern, so it may not be possible to obtain the same one in the future. Recommended item. The price is set reasonably so that various people can purchase it. size w21cm d20cm h48㎝ (54 cm: including the metal handle at the tip) Weight: 4.2kg
