Mid-20th Century French Barley Twist Alabaster Column, Pedestal, Sculpture Stand
About the Item
This early twentieth century French alabaster column or pedestal stands at 42 inches in height and features a spiraling barley twist along its central pillar. Resting on an 11.5 inch diameter plinth base, this column would be a wonderful addition to grace any garden or to display a sculpture. Its top measures 9.5 inches in diameter. c. 1940.
