About the Item

A wonderfully shaped and glazed stoneware bowl by Italian master potter/ceramicist Bruno Gambone, the son of legendary artist Guido Gambone. Glazed beautifully with a off white and black/brown glaze with a simple two tone circular design. The bowl is signed ("Gambone Italy") on the underside/base. Bruno Gambone's works can be found in numerious international collections and museums. A solid, hefy piece. This bowl would be a great addition to any Mid-Century Modern or Italian pottery collection of make for an eye catching stand alone accent piece in about any setting.
