About the Item

This rare and iconic vintage mid century Danish modern teak wood bowl was designed by Henning Koppel and produced by Georg Jensen and made in Denmark circa 1960. This large decorative bowl has a classic Scandinavian modern aesthetic with clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves. The bowl features gorgeous turned solid teak wood with a warm tone and beautiful grain and has beautiful profile with a shallow depth, elevated foot and unique carved double rimmed edge. A stunning centerpiece and true collectible. Branded to underside: “Georg Jensen, Henning Koppel Design, Made in Denmark”.
