Georg Jensen Pair of Sterling Silver Art Deco Tazza 718

About the Item

A pair of Georg Jensen art deco bowls or tazzas, featuring design #718 by Sigvard Bernadotte in 1934. This highly refined and stylish design, produced in limited quantities, showcases a sleek aesthetic. The bowls boast a circular base connected to a stem adorned with a series of linear patterns, reminiscent of the functionalist design found in the Bernadotte cutlery collection. The tubular stem is seamlessly joined to the bowl through a single disk. The outer part of the bowl exhibits an applied rim, a meticulous task that posed a considerable challenge for any skilled silversmith. Specifications: • Dimensions: 4″ (10 cm) in height x 5 1/8″ (13 cm) in diameter at the top of the bowl. • Weight: Combined weight of 380 grams (13.40 oz.). • Hallmarks: Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977. All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
