Gorgeous Primitive Swedish Burl Rootwood Bowl

About the Item

Gorgeous primitive Swedish burl rootwood bowl dating to the early 19th century. Beautifully organic burl wood grain patterns decorate surface of this bowl. Two old steel plug repairs enhance the bowl's charm and character. Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion. Due to regional changes in humidity and climate during shipping, antique wood may shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer may loosen or peel, and painted finishes and gilt may flake and crack.
