Original Swedish Folk Art pine carved wooden bowl with original red paint and warm patina. These bowls were used throughout families and often passed down generation to next generation. This bowl remains a highly functional item and now serve as a lovely decorative item/bowl.
Worn patina, nicks, scratches and signs of wear are all a reflection of years of use.

It is the very worn look that creates the wonderful appeal of this original painted and carved horse from Sweden.
The brick red paint has been chipped and distressed while the tattered leather ears, parts missing to bridle and crackles to the old leather saddle missing one stirrup reflect a simpler time. Residual horse hair is seen which created the original tail and mane.
Sold in used vintage condition. Solid/stable.
