About the Item

Rare & Important Antique English Large Wedgwood Queensware (Creamware) Centerpiece with influences by Robert Adam represented by the swags and festoons modelled on the exterior of the bowl. (The green dots on the base are felt dots which are removable). There are a couple of minor "firing hairlines" illustrated in the images provided and only mentioned for description and condition accuracy. There is also a bit of hand painted enamelling which has worn from use over the past 200+ years. The impressed "WEDGWOOD" maker's mark dates from the end of the 18th century through the first decade of the 19th century. A wonderful and rare piece of period Wedgwood Queensware or Creamware.
