Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver Reticulated Tazzas with Repoussé Floral Decoration

This matched pair of early 20th century Tiffany & Company sterling silver tazzas have been finished in an ornate pattern made up of repoussé floral sprays and reticulated decoration with rocaille scrolls and shell detail at the rim. The face of the tazzas each feature an engraved armorial consisting of a borzoi in profile with a crown about its neck which is flanked by a large pair of outstretched wings. The image surmounts a scrolling banner engraved with the motto Quod Dixi Factum Est.
The tazzas have domed bases which echo the decoration found on the bowls and are elevated on four shell-form feet. The underside of the pieces are fully and properly hallmarked for Tiffany & Company. The set is substantial and has a combined weight of 27.6 ozt.
