Black Lacquered Cutout "Piano Finish" Box Paved Interior
About the Item
The "black lacquered cutout box"
This is hand made with sections that are attached by hand. The inner lip is molded to the shape. Then filler is used to cover all of that work. A primmer is applied to smooth out the interior surface then it is sanded.This process is done three times.Once the surface is smooth a first coat of black lacquer is applied then sanded, this is done twice more. Finally, a top coat of gloss varnish is applied 2-3 times as needed. It is then it is lovingly hand polished to give it the "Piano Finish", which is super shinny.
The interior is paved on the top bottom and sides with the best crystals available in the market. The color combination of Jet and Silver shade which is a smoky crystal is a sophisticated standout. This box is a totally breathtaking surprise. The exterior is simple and elegant. Upon opening the box you feel as thought you have just uncovered your own personal diamond mine. My inspiration was taken from nature, from the amethyst geode, plain on the outside once split it's a wonder! This box will compliment many style periods too. As a box collector I was very satisfied upon its completion, I think you will be to.
