English leather hat box for a man’s wide brim top hat, 1830-40
About the Item
Distressed leather hat box for a man’s wide brim top hat. The lid is hinged and has a metal closure. The handle and strap stays are molded metal. The interior retains its original cream and green patterned paper lining.
England, circa 1830-40.
Condition: Leather is stained and heavily distressed. Interior paper lining is in good original condition.
