English Octagonal Rosewood with Boxwood Line Inlay Jewelry Box

About the Item

A slim and elegant box of highly figured rosewood divided into multiple panels, each bordered with narrow boxwood string inlay. The box rests on small wooden ball feet in faux painted ivory. The interior is papered in Prussian blue and divided into six compartments. Early 19th century. Good antique condition. H: 3 ½ W: 11 ½ D: 8 ½
