English Burl Walnut Tea Caddy With Decorative Brass Mounts
About the Item
A handsome Victorian era burl wood tea caddy retaining much of its interior silvering. The exterior is adorned with ornamental brass strapwork elements, studs and an escutcheon, the lid is further embellished with carved bone elements layered on top of the brass. Late 19th century.
