George II Tilt Top Tea Table, With Pie Crust Top
About the Item
A fine ca. 1760 English single board mahogany tilt top tea table, the pedestal base carved as a substantial and handsome fluted column resting on finely carved downswept legs with carved knees and terminating in elongated ball and claw feet. Birdcage retains original catch, latch and pin are later. Good condition, with typical wear from age and use and some indentations to the top.
