About the Item
This lovely restored silver plate hinged box and or cigarette box is from the 1940s and hallmarked on the bottom "Fashioned by Ronson Newark NJ USA silver plate. The ribbed lines and compartments were originally for housing cigarettes. This box makes a beautiful desk accessory and or cocktail table addition. This does not need to be now a cigarette box. It is now just a beautiful lovely and charming box. The feet are charming as well as the top of the box with the same design and is very 1940s. It was all re- silver plated.
