About the Item

Unique stack of leather books design tantalus with hidden 'shot glasses' & decanters. If you are looking for the most interesting and worldly gift for yourself, a friend or a loved one then this magnificent antique drinks box could be perfect. This beautiful design tantalus dates from the early 1900s and what makes it extra special is that the books stack looks amazingly natural and real. Your guests will be all the more surprised to see the antique decanters and glasses when you open these books. Just like the leather books stack, the beautifully handcrafted and gilt antique glasses and decanters too are still in good condition and very much ready to be used and enjoyed. This novelty, antique talking piece is the perfect gift, but also the ideal decoration piece for your desk, your private library or your home office. Apart from the rare and striking design and its practical use this antique tantalus also has the most wonderful patina. Mind you, our price for this unique 'secret tantalus' includes perfect packing (in a custom made box) and also worldwide shipping from our store to your door in just 3 to 5 workdays. Maximum width x depth x height: 8.7 x 5.7 x 5.2 inches. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for the best craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again).
