19th Century Gentleman Pig Tobacco Jar
About the Item
RARE 19th century signed Johann Maresh tobacco jar in the form of a gentleman pig. This is one of those wonderful tobacco boxes you look for to be the star of your collection. He is so whimsical seated with his umbrella! He has a plaid waistcoat and jacket over light trousers. He appears ready for tea! This set is very rare. We have been told there are four different boxes in the set, and have only had the pleasure of owning three.
