The anterior cover is embellished with an impressive enamel panel depicting a nude woman with long curling brown hair, grasping a stemmed rose and lounging against a sheer flowing fabric wrap. The posterior cover and rounded sides of this cigarette case are plain and unembellished. This case is fitted with a plain rounded thumbpiece and push fit catch, which when released reveals two hinged compartments. This impressive example of antique silverware retains the original gilt interior.
