Nineteenth century silver plate mounted oak double chamber tea caddy. The rectangular body with silver plate straps and side handles raised on ball feet and with an engraved, hinged cover opening to a pair of oak lids with silver knobs. The front fitted with a shield form escutcheon over the keyhole (no key).
