Fine Quality George III Inlaid Satinwood Tea Caddy

About

A fine quality Georgian heavily inlaid satinwood octagonal tea caddy, the top with a conch shell and fan design, the front with a shell inlay, the corners decorated with boxwood columns, the sides further inlaid with oval burled panels all with chevron framing. The interior with foil lining and 2 inlaid compartments, circa 1790.
