Georgian Decagonal Ivory, Tortoiseshell & Silver Tea Caddy w/ Tented Top 18thc
About the Item
This lovely elongated decagon shaped tented topped tea caddy is made from ivory with ten panels separated by tortoiseshell stringing as well as tortoise outlining the bottom. Silver hinged top, escutcheon, plaque, key and finial on both top and interior lids. There are still traces of the
original foil lining inside.
