Pair of Brass Jacobean Style Barley Twist 2-Light Adjustable Candelabra

About the Item

A fine pair of brass candelabra. In the Jacobean style. Each with tripod base and scrolled feet supporting a barley twist shaft that accommodates candelabra arms with 2 candle cups and bobeches and terminates in a turned finial. The adjustable arms are secured with a threaded bolt and the shafts are peened in place to the bases. Each candle cup and finial is threaded and removeable (as are the bobeches). Simply a wonderful Period style lighting! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: There is some light edge wear and minor casting flaws. One finial is slightly truncated, and the central posts each have a slight lean. There some spots of persistent oxidation and tarnish, some very light dings and indentions, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
