A pair sophisticated carrara marble and gilt bronze Candlesticks. Made in France during the 1780s. Louis XVI.
Beautiful contrast between the white Carrara marble and the gilded decor.
There are some cracks in the marble (see pictures) and the gilding is a little worn, but the overall impression is very good. (over 240 years old)
