About the Item
A very stylish pair Townsend & Co Aesthetic Movement candlesticks with mock bamboo supports dating from circa 1890. The candlesticks are finely made with rounded stepped domed heavy copper bases with a central stem created from brass imitating bamboo stems with an upper straight stem supported by a lower C-scroll stem supporting. With rounded bud shaped tops. Both candlesticks have impressed marks to the base.
