Antique Swedish mora clock from early 1800s in natural finish and with a great waisted shape body and a good face with lots of detail with ormolu style accents. Measures: 210cm.
It has the Classic extended belly of a traditional Swedish mora clock.
The clock body paint has the usual wood movement and paint distressing found in clocks of this age.
The face is good quality and complete with slight enamel losses.
the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)

- Condition:Repaired: it have probably had some small repairs during its lifetime. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. The clock has some paint distressing and it is structurally sound with the usual wood movement for a piece of its age. It has some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel and may exhibit some paint lifting in places.
