It harkens back to a time of “Peyton Place” when outdoor bank clocks or clocks atop a lamppost in the town square were commonplace instilling in us a feeling of communal security and good ol’ American values. In 1908, O.B. McClintock opened the O.B. McClintock Co. company to manufacture clocks which he sold to financial institutions all across the United States.
