Antique Novelty Billiard Clock

About the Item

Novelty Billiard mantel clock. A rare and very unusual novelty mantel clock, the base being a miniature billiard table. The drum-shaped clock case has a 6 cm porcelain dial fronting an eight-day spring-driven French movement supported on two crossed billiard cues and a triangle filled with red balls. The clock sits upon on a green baize topped mahogany snooker table with six string bag pockets and finely carved decoration to the tops of the six turned legs. There are three billiard balls on the playing surface of the table with a cross rest. The table has been well put together and is great for any billiard, snooker enthusiast.
