Nomon Mini Oj Wall Clock By Jose Maria Reina
By José María Reina, Nomon
Located in Brooklyn, NY
It is increasingly common to see a wall clock located anywhere in a house without regard to traditional areas such as the kitchen. This has a reason to be: This type of clocks has become an original decorative element. A design clock like the Nomon mini OJ gives great personality to any room where you place it and thanks to its dimensions of just 50 cm in diameter it also makes it a jovial and curious object. A wall can be completely empty but when you place an adhesive clock on it, it will be rightly decorated without the need to add any other decorative element. Only with its presence a wall clock can enrich a place without recharging it much more since its design will be enough. It is the kind of magic that you achieve when having a Nomon OJ mini clock...

An Extremely Fine and Rare 19th Century Ormolu Cartel Clock
By Samuel Marti
Located in Amersham, GB
An exquisite Louis XV style gilt and patinated bronze cartel clock. The eight-day two train bell striking movement, with vertically planted platform cylinder escapement and stamped with S. Marti et Cie MEDAILLE D'ARGENT. 1889 roundel and serial number 647 to backplate. The dial formed as a deep blue and gold flecked enamel dome applied with gilt Roman numerals and stars set within billowing clouds interspersed with sunburst rays. Applied with three patinated bronze cherubs in flight, around the dial attending to a floral garland. Amongst the clouds can be found a pair of doves, a horn and arrows, a quiver and bow. This coupled with the cherubs and flower garland would suggest this clock was made as a love token or wedding present. The symbolism of love, marriage and fertility, the cherubs representing the three Greek Erotes...
