Edwardian Classical sterling silver picture frame. Made by Birks in Canada, ca 1910. Rectangular surround. On front corner low-relief paterae and leafing scrollwork; at top curvilinear cartouche (vacant). Wraparound reeding. Sides plain. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s stamp.
Dimensions: Frame: H 10 x W 7 5/8 in. Window: H 8 3/4 x W 6 1/2 in.
