A rare Bulto attributed to José Rafael Aragón (1795-1862). Masterfully carved and painted, the image depicts San Lorenzo. Aragón was active between 1820 and 1862, he lived and worked in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Provenance: Label reads: Spanish and Indian Trading Company, Santa Fe, New Mexico - (started by artist, Andrew Dasburg).
