Divine 19th century carving of Sarriputta. Always kneeling to side of the Buddha, Sarriputta is a most important Disciple. Carved wood with remnaints of pigments. Wonderful representation, Simply Divine. Some thing special for the holidays. Excellent condition, Time worn patina, a very rustic example artifact.
