The Flora sculptures are part of the Fossils series. Oversized acrylic flower sculptures are combined with repurposed painted concrete rubble from demolished buildings, allowing the artist to pay tribute to the past, while looking to the future. In the artist’s view: “From these concrete rocks, a flower emerges, synthetic at that, because our history is perpetual and our future is blossoming.”
