Cette sculpture cyclope qui fait penser à un oiseau s’actionne telle une toupie grâce à la ficelle qui s’enroule autour de l’avant du socle. Son corps est recouvert de plusieurs billes et d’yeux de verres colorés qui lorsque la sculpture tourne sur elle-même créent des reflets brillants, à l’image des pièges qu'utilisaient jadis les chasseurs pour attirer les alouettes (d’où le titre de l’oeuvre).
