About the Item
Planter in copper and wrought iron, a large flared cup on the top, all resting on a circular tripod base.
André Dubreuil was born in Lyon in 1951 and died in April 2022.
He was one of the most singular creators of his time. The one that cannot be put in any box, any trend, as his work has remained on the sidelines of fashions. Its iconic Spine chair, which appeared on the cover of the reference monograph published in 2006 by Jean-Louis Gaillemin, has entered museums and interiors, bringing a touch of lightness, with its large volute in black steel blade or Golden. But this fantasy is only a parenthesis in the immense and rich work of André Dubreuil who perpetuated the great tradition of French furniture, by infusing it with a very innovative style and imagination.
