Bronze and Walnut Rooster Sculpture by Karl Hagenauer

About

Elegant, streamlined, modernistic sculpture of a rooster by Karl Hagenauer of Vienna. The rooster's tail, feet and comb are crafted from bronze, the body hand-carved from walnut, all raised on a tinted walnut base. Hagenauer has finely captured the elegant statue and movement of this farm bird. The sculpture is stamped on the underside, Hagenauer Wien, Made in Austria, Handmade and the Hagenauer Logo. Very good condition, a few scratches from the claws on the wood base.
