"Nade cow" is a popular belief that if you stroke the sick or ill part of your body and then stroke the same part of the cow's body, the bad part will move to the cow and the illness will be cured. Yes, it is a custom. "Nade" means to stroke. "Nade cow" is said to be effective not only for healing illness but also for fulfilling various wishes. It is said that you may even be blessed with no good luck. It is said that it has effects such as disease-free breathing of children and prosperity of descendants, and such "nadashi" are placed in various shrines in Japan. Since it was patted by many people, it is glossy, the paint is thinning, and the beautiful grain of wood is clearly visible. The material is zelkova. There are also repair points. This is the part marked in red in the image. The left corner and left ear have been restored with something like putty. The right corner and the base of the right ear fill the cracks with putty. In addition, the defect at the tip of the right corner is restored with putty. This repair was very good, polite and believed to have been repaired by a professional person. If you decorate this at home, it may bring happiness. This is a highly recommended item. It's a very rare item, so it's unlikely that I'll get something similar in the future. Weight: 2.3 kg.
