Midcentury Swedish Brutalist fire screen of a "Firerooster" by Olle Hermansson for Husqvarna. In cast iron. Olle Hermansson was interested in Nordic mythology. The rooster "Gullinkambe" (golden comb) sits on the top of the world tree "Yggdrasil" and will awaken the monarchs to battle when the world are coming to an end. Well, this fire screen rooster is certainly open for other interpretation as well. Signed. In the right environment the rooster can be placed either as a fire screen or a sculpture. Sculpture in two parts.
