a large handsome pair of Lunéville faience lions, each shown resting on a green sponged plinth base with his tail curled over his back, their legs, paws, tails, and faces are painted gray-blue and their white bodies have gray-blue spots / markings, with yellow sponged manes, their ears and eyebrows have manganese markings, with piercing blue eyes and red mouths, France, early 18th century with old Christie's label 30-JUN-15 Sale 3755 Lot 320 hairline crack and visible chip to one of the lions (see photos) 14.5" H x 18.5" W x 9" D
