Vintage Chinese Export Porcelain Celadon Glazed Ducks, Set of 3, 1970's, China
About the Item
An absolutely delightful vintage set of three Chinese export porcelain celadon glazed models of ducks, circa 1970's, China.
The three ducks all portrayed in a similar fashion, standing upright upon webbed feet, wings close to their bodies, with necks extended, all supported on a brown ochre glazed base.
The bodies of the ducks glazed in a gorgeous celadon color. Two ducks of a deep olive green celadon. One duck a few shades lighter. All ducks with feathers beautifully and meticulously picked out, the glaze settling and pooling into the recesses, adding another layer of depth to the glaze. The webbed and textured fee, and the beaks glazed in an alluring pale cafe-au-lait.
All with impressed factory marks to the base, unfortunately mostly obscured and illegible.
