About the Item

Small bust of St. John the Baptist made of marble or alabaster with the head tilted slightly to the left. A similar version, signed and dated Storck 1870, can be found in the Frederic and Cecilia Cuțescu-Storck Art Museum, which exhibits works by the Storck family of artists.
