Art Deco Bronze “Offering” Signed Cipriani
About the Item
Bronze circa 1935 woman with fawns in bronze with green and brown patina on a black marble base (surfin from Belgium)
Son of a Florentine sculptor Ugo Cipriani, 1887 - 1960, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and joined the Art Deco movement of the 20s and 30s. He fled fascism and took refuge in France in 1935. He worked magnificently in bronze, marble, alabaster, terracotta and chryselephantines.
For transport, the bronze will be packaged separately from the marble for safety reasons.
