J. GARNIER: a charming BRONZE FIGURE of a young sailor-boy, dressed in "bobble-topped" beret and sailor's smock, his arms folded as he happily dances a jig. Good color and patina, and signed to the integral bronze base. 15.7" (40cms) high including the plinth. ***JEAN GARNIER (1853-1910) was a 19th century French sculptor known for his bronze figures and decorative vessels.
