Narcissus in Bronze Italian Grand Tour Sculpture According to the Model of Pompeii

About the Item

Narcissus Bronze Sculpture early 1900s, the figure is a reproduction from the classical-era bronze of the Greek god Dionysus found in the 1862 excavations at Pompeii and preserved at the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Dark patina earth casting from the early decades of the 20th century. This Italian sculpture finds its raison d'être in what were the proposals for travel souvenirs and the collecting of the Grand Tour. Height: 61cm Diameter:25cm It comes from a private collection in Milan and is in good condition, with a nice dark patina. For the export from Italy of an art object that is more than 50 years old, a government export license called BELLE ARTI must be applied for. the issuance of such a license takes about 2 to 3 weeks, to be added to the order processing time.
