Okeanos Touch Lamp, Glossy Black & White
By Massimo Marcomini
Located in Mantova, MN
The finest ceramic, crafted in the Venetian tradition, takes the shape of shells, corals and sea creatures straddling myth and reality, to decorate a timeless amphora. The sea, ancient art, and Classical Antiquity, reimagined with a modern eye, join forces with hi-tech LED lighting to create an elegant table lamp of unique allure, named after the primeval sea god. Thanks to its innovative touch system, the lamp’s Plexiglas pane can be switched and adjusted by touching the ceramic pedestal. The light source is a 7W LED strip with 3000K, 411 lumen and 100-240V voltage.
To the Ancient Greeks Okeanos was the primeval god of waters, the immense sea/river that springs from itself and in itself flows again, encompassing the whole world in water. Homer’s poetry makes him into the beginning of all things, the eternal origin of all the seas, rivers and springs – in an endless cycle of flowing life energy.

By Superego Editions
Located in Milan, Italy
Ceramic sculpture model China designed by Sandra Virlinzi for collective Ultrapop and produced by Superego Editions. Limited edition of 44 pieces. Signed and numbered.
About Ultrapop
Aliens, zombies, monsters, Robots, cyclops and freaks are the protagonists in an exhibition of contemporary art “Ultrapop Ultracolor” which opens at the Museo di Arte Contemporanea in Villa Croce in Genoa. Comic strip imagination on full power animates the work of Dario Arcidiacono, Giordano Curreri, Antonio Sorrentino and Sandra Virlinzi, four young artists from Catania and Genoa who have been working together for a number of years under the name Ultrapop. This unusual exhibition at Genoa brings together over forty pieces of “ironic frights”, most of which are being shown for the first time.
Biography
Sandra Virlinzi was born in Catania in 1973.
He studied in Rome and in 1997 he moved to Milan where he began working for the world of publishing, design and web publishing. In the same year, together with Arcidiacono, Curreri and Sorrentino, he founded the 'Ultrapop' group and until 2005 he was part of it, presenting his painting works with them in numerous group exhibitions. Meanwhile, it tries to apply itself in the realization of different types of projects, such as: internet sites, set-ups, short films, ceramic objects, stickers, prints, booklets, light sculptures, leather accessories, stuffed puppets, picture boxes...

Biagio Romeo Woman Sculpture, Signed 1996
By Romeo
Located in Milano, IT
Beautiful bronze and wood sculpture designed in 1996, fine Italian manufacture. SIGNED.
The base is made of lacquered black wood. This form serves as a pedestal for the actual sculpture.
The main body is represented by an entirely nude bronze woman, kneeling.
The woman is seated on a rock, on which the artist's signature is carved.
The woman is represented in a contorted position: in fact, she is seated with one knee on the ground, while her entire weight pivots on the other. With one arm she touches the ground to keep her balance while with the other she touches her head, as if she wanted to be photographed. The woman is completely naked and we can see this from her obvious breasts, but her bottom is also visible.
The woman seems to represent a person who wants to be looked at, proudly showing herself in her nudity. A hymn to female nudity and to the beauty and harmony of the body.
The sculpture is very beautiful and suitable for decorating classy areas.

Immaculate Conception and saints
Marble, 60 x 50 x 9 cm
In the center of the marble oval we find an Immaculate Conception accompanied by St. Vincent Ferrer (identifiable thanks to the presence of the wings and the Dominican dress), and by two saints of difficult identification, one of them with a monastic habit.
The theme of the Immaculate Conception began to appear in artistic works ever since the debate began, which saw the Franciscans and the ramifications of the Benedictine Order lined up on one side, linked to the thought of Anselmo d'Aosta and Bonaventura da Bagnoregio, and on the other the Dominicans, linked to the discussion offered by Thomas Aquinas...
