18th century Italian gold leaf wood candlestick with a coordinating antique wallpaper base decorated with polished jasper stones. The gold leaf candlestick originates from a large church in Florence and sits on a brass metal base. The number on the back of the candlestick shows that the candlestick had a designated place on the church altar.
