Rare Vintage Danish L. Hjorth Large Ceramic Bojan Grey & Red Crackle Glaze

About the Item

Large bojan shaped vessel from the Danish ceramic studio L. Hjorth. It's made from stoneware and features a grey crackle glaze with red elements. The knob on top of the lid is shaped as a snail. Made ca 1930s to 50s. Handmarked on bottom with "L Hjorth" and stamped stag symbol. It's in a very good used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Irregularities in glaze are from production. height with lid: 29 cm (11.42") height without lid: 23,5 cm (9.25") diameter: 20,5 cm (8.07")
