Vintage Danish Ceramic Table Lamp Brown Glaze Three Women Motif by L. Hjorth

About the Item

Ceramic table lamp from the Danish ceramic studio L. Hjorth. Ca 1950s or earlier. The design is attributed to Gertrud Kudielka. The lamp depicts a small story with three women - one playing an instrument, one contemplating and one with a dog. The style is inspired by ancient Egyptian or Greek art. The glaze is warm brown with darker elements. On the bottom signed with: L Hjorth Denmark stag symbol 655 Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is natural white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. Measurements: height including lamp shade: 51 cm (20.08") height with socket: 35,5 cm (13.98")") height without socket: 27,5 cm (10.83") diameter base: 11 cm (4.33") diameter lamp shade: 30 cm (11.81") Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
