Chinese Export 19th Century Porcelain Urn

About the Item

A beautiful 19th century Chinese Export porcelain urn with striking French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu mounts. The urn is raised by an elegant square ormolu base with concave corners and fine recessed chased panels and a striking wrap around berried laurel band. The body displays intricately hand painted designs and flowers with birds and roosters. Above a richly chased foliate designed ormolu rim is the striking removable lid with a detailed acorn finial. The lid lifts off to reveal the finished interior.
